Description of the video: For more than 50 years, we’ve been providing students in south central Indiana with the opportunity to receive a world-class university education. In the fall of 2024, we will make history as we transition from IUPUC to Indiana University Columbus. But we’re not making history just by changing our name. We’re making history in our classrooms, in the community, and now on the athletic fields. In our second year as a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletices we are fielding teams in Men’s and Women’s Cross Country, Men’s and Women’s Soccer, Women’s Volleyball, Baseball and Softball, and, we hope to have Men’s and Women’s basketball starting in the winter of 2024. Our faculty are making history too. They are leaders in their fields and have won Fulbright awards, are conducting groundbreaking research, are writing award-winning books, and are leading the way with new teaching technologies and techniques. As a student at IU Columbus, your learning experience will extend beyond the classroom through opportunities like student research projects, internships, participation in student organizations and student publications, or taking advantage of the more than 300 study abroad program options that Indiana University has to offer.
